Responsibilities
Support the Security/Internal Investigations team by handling customer inquiries and complaints as they relate to on-chain investigations into illicit activities. Analyze customer account data, on-chain and off-chain transactions, account characteristics, and other information in order to assess the nature of the activity and follow the flow of funds.Report and investigate fraud/scams/thefts, examine if stolen funds are sent to a Binance account, or if unauthorized transactions took place within Binance accounts. Thoroughly document investigative activities, to include steps taken, information gathered and conclusions drawn.Liaise with other departments to provide or gather information as it relates to investigations and customer accounts.
Requirements
Experience with blockchain analytics, either using tools or manually tracing funds effectively using relevant blockchain explorers.Excellent research and writing skills; able to communicate findings clearly and concisely.Minimum 2 years experience in customer service, preferably in finance or E-commerce industry.Ability to interpret account data to make well informed judgements.Ability to think critically and consider possibilities when troubleshooting, superb investigation skills. Able to work effectively as a team member and also independently or with minimal supervision. Strong security awareness. Great attention to detail and solid analytical skills.Professionalism and high moral sense.In addition to English, proficiency in Chinese would be preferred (but not required).Core hours for this position need to be between 15:00 and 02:00 UTC+0 and include coverage for at least one or both Saturday or Sunday.
