Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as an Instructional Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging and effective training materials to help our customers learn how to use our software products. You will work closely with subject matter experts, product managers, and other stakeholders to create e-learning modules, quick reference guides, tutorials, videos, and other customer training materials. Over time, you will also interface with customers to provide training support where necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop e-learning modules and courses that effectively teach users how to use our software products.
  • Design and create interactive and engaging training materials, including videos, simulations, web help, and other relevant formats.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content and ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
  • Evaluate new product releases, determine impact to training material, and modify training materials accordingly.Write clear and concise documentation, including quick reference guides, user manuals, and release notes.
  • Validate training materials with the Product team before releasing content to customers.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in e-learning and instructional design to continuously improve training content.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure consistency of messaging and branding across all training materials.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness of training content. Incorporate feedback from Customer Success and Product as part of a continuous improvement process.
  • Assist in the implementation and rollout of new training programs and initiatives.
  • Provide support to customers and internal stakeholders on training-related inquiries.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in developing SaaS e-learning modules, tutorials, and other training materials, preferably in the healthcare technology space.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS) and online training platforms.
  • Knowledge of agile software development processes and experience using JIRA  are a plus.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for designing engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
