We are searching for a proactive and creative Information Security Awareness Manager at Five9 who will focus on internal security awareness and extend their expertise to external communications. This role involves collaboration with the Marketing team to create informative security whitepapers and tech sheets for customers, promoting Five9's security through thought leadership on LinkedIn and other media sources, and assisting in developing content for customer presentations. This position is open to qualified applicants within the United States, with occasional travel to our San Ramon, CA headquarters. Candidates residing within 50 miles of our San Ramon, CA or San Francisco, CA offices are required to be in the office three days a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays).
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop and publish security whitepapers and tech sheets highlighting Five9's commitment to security for our customers.
- Take a leading role in promoting Five9's security practices through thought leadership articles, posts on LinkedIn, and contributions to other relevant media outlets.
- Assist in creating and refining content for customer presentations, ensuring that security asp accurately and effectively communicated.
- Develop engaging and informative security awareness content for internal channels like Slack messages, email newsletters, and office posters.
- Design and manage a Security Champions program to engage employees across various departments in security best practices.
- Work with the design team to create appealing and informative swag for the InfoSec and other technical teams.
- Organize and conduct security awareness events and workshops, promoting participation and a strong security culture.
- Regularly assess the effectiveness of the awareness campaigns and adjust strategies based on analytics and feedback.
- Keep abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends and threats, incorporating this knowledge into both internal and external communication strategies.
- Report on the effectiveness and reach of the security awareness initiatives to management.
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in Security Marketing or Marketing.
- Proven experience in security awareness program development with a strong emphasis on marketing and external communications.
- Demonstrated ability in creating technical whitepapers, tech heets, and thought leadership content related to cybersecurity.
- Excellent communication skills, with a talent for crafting messages that engage and inform diverse audiences, including customers.
- Experience with content creation for customer presentations and public-facing communications.
- Strong collaboration skills with Marketing, Design, and other departments.
- Solid understanding of cybersecurity trends and principles, with the ability to convey complex concepts easily.
- Creative and strategic thinker, capable of developing innovative approaches to promote security awareness internally and externally.
