Job Summary:

The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs, conducting regular audits, and providing training to staff to promote a culture of compliance. This role will be responsible for overseeing adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies across HR administration and compliance. It requires strong analytical skills, thorough knowledge of regulatory standards, and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a background in people operations, compliance, legal, or a related field, and a proven track record of managing HR compliance within a healthcare or similar environment.

 

Responsibilities:

HR Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the HR operations team, ensuring compliant, efficient, and effective service delivery.
  • Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Monitor HR metrics and generate reports to track and enhance HR performance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate response to employee queries.

 

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Conduct regular audits of HR processes and practices to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

 

People Strategy Development and Implementation:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of People strategies and initiatives that support business goals.
  • Support organizational development and change management efforts.
  • Stay abreast of HR trends and best practices to continuously improve HR operations and services.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, HR certification (PHR/SPHR) is preferred. Or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar HR role.
  • Proven expertise in managing HR processes, policies, and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software systems.
