Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Coordinator for a 1 - 2 month temp assignment. This role involves comprehensive research on LOA laws and requirements at both state and federal levels in the US, as well as internationally. The specialist will gather, assemble, and manage information related to our leave policies, resources, and state/country-specific LOA packets to streamline and define our leave process.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and Analysis:
Conduct thorough research on US LOA laws and requirements, covering all states and federal regulations.
Research LOA laws and requirements for all countries where the company operates.
Information Gathering:
Collect all existing information on types of leaves and current leave policies from company resources such as Drive, Notion, and Dropbox.
Gather and assemble state and country-specific LOA packets/resources.
Process Definition:
Assemble and review LOA laws to assist in defining and refining the company's leave process.
Research state-specific offboarding materials and create comprehensive packets.
Resource Management:
Build out the Notion page with relevant LOA information.
Create and maintain an index of policies and resources in Notion, Drive, and Dropbox.
Coordination and Logistics:
Follow up as needed with our benefits broker and other relevant parties.
Determine the best methods for managing and sharing holiday information.
Team Collaboration:
Communicate with team members to parse out specific contacts for information.
Ensure efficient and effective information sharing and resource management within the team.
Qualifications:
Minimum Junior status pursuing an HR degree or 1-2 years HR experience
Experience with LOA laws and policies is a plus.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
Proficiency in using tools like Notion, Excel, Google Sheets, Drive, and Dropbox.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
