We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on GTM Finance & Compensation Analyst to join our team and make a big impact.
As the Go-to-Market Finance & Compensation Analyst, you will administer our Revenue Compensation Program and work closely across Finance, Operations, and Go-to-Market to help optimize our incentives programs, you will be responsible for processing, reporting, and analyzing commissions.
What you’ll do:
- Administer Muck Rack’s end to end Revenue Compensation Program including implementation and innovation of said program
- Establish and accurately prepare the monthly commissions payouts and relevant reporting related to compensation and commissions for Revenue and Finance leadership
- Regularly review compensation data and evaluate individual and team plan performance by creating specialized compensation reports to measure plan effectiveness against business targets
- Act as point of contact for all commissions communications including distribution of compensation plans and any changes related to said plans to ensure understanding across the revenue team
- Support any compensation calculation-related inquiries and exceptions, including disputes, and help drive timely resolution through ad-hoc means as required
- Document compensation policies and procedures, communicate when compensation plans change to relevant stakeholders and escalate when errors or issues are identified in a timely manner
- Drive process and system improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, transparency and scalability of Muck Rack’s Revenue Compensation Program

- 3-5 years in a SAAS company with experience in a Sales Analyst role
- Firm grasp of the sales incentives administrative process flow, including plan document distribution and tracking, transaction crediting, incentive calculations, payment file preparation and issue resolution
- Experience with Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) tools for plan administration (such as QuotaPath, CaptivateIQ, Spiff)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy while balancing competing priorities to meet deadlines
- Exceptional problem-solving and critical-thinking skills while balancing the need for data and driving towards actionable solutions
- Superior written, verbal and presentation communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Knowledge of compensation principles, incentive plan design and performance measurement
- Team player but able to work independently
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive compensation information
- Comfortable working within Google Suite (sheets, docs, slides, etc.)

Salary
The starting salary for this role is between $95,000 and 120,000+, depending on skills and experience. We take a geo-neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location. For all other countries, we have competitive pay bands based on market standards.
