GTM Compensation Analyst
We’re looking for a GTM Incentive Compensation professional to join our GTM Compensation team, within Anaplan’s Strategy & Planning organization. As a key team member, the GTM Compensation Business Partner will play a critical role in administering Anaplan’s GTM Incentive Compensation (commission) program. The GTM Compensation Business Partner (“CBP”) will work closely with Global GTM Operations and Field personnel, acting as a conduit between the Field and Anaplan’s GTM Compensation Operations team. This role focuses primarily on Field support & advocacy, analytics, and program administration, with some involvement in project-based activities, and will be largely deadline driven.
This is a full-time position and is eligible for remote work.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with various GTM Operations teams and GTM Management to gather and interpret data critical to the GTM Compensation Program
- Validate data sets for accuracy and consistency with the GTM Compensation Program guidelines, as defined in the annual planning process
- Coordinate with GTM Operations teams to resolve issues and ensure data collection is timely and accurate, in order to meet critical monthly Compensation deadlines
- Participate in bi-monthly, monthly and quarterly validations and reviews of transaction crediting, commission payments, Compensation Program exceptions, and transition plans
- Assist GTM Compensation Operations and Field teams with the administration of MBOs and other programs related to GTM Compensation
- Assist the GTM Operations teams and Field personnel in resolving any Compensation-related issues or discrepancies
- Provide guidance and training to Field personnel surrounding Compensation-related processes, procedures and program details
Additional, periodic responsibilities may include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Partnering with the GTM leaders to continually identify and understand required enhancements to the Compensation Program
- Work closely with GTM Operations, Commissions, and Human Resources to implement process improvements related to both internal and cross-functional processes
- Engage in various, yet-to-be-determined projects, related to both the GTM Compensation Program and Strategy & Planning, as a whole
- Participate in the development and implementation of the new Compensation plan designs and processes each fiscal year
Skills We’re Looking For:
- 4+ years experience in GTM incentive compensation, sales strategy & operations, and/or consulting
- Familiarity with Salesforce.com and Incentive Compensation Management tools
- Basic understanding of the end-to-end GTM Incentive Compensation process flow in a Saas/Subscription environment, including: quota setting; coverage assignments; transaction crediting; incentive calculations; and payments
- Robust analytical skills (formula design, pivot tables, charts), and proficiency in working with/interpreting large sets of data (data collection; modeling scenarios; pattern detection; clear presentation of findings; etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and build strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners
- Exceptional problem solving and critical thinking abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptionally motivated and driven, with the ability to multitask in a fluid and highly deadline-driven environment
- Experience working with the Anaplan Platform is ideal
