POSITION SUMMARY
The Operator position is a role within the Security Global Ops team that involves answering routine and emergency calls, monitoring alarms, CCTV and other alerting platforms. The role requires evaluating global incidents that may impact employees or offices and escalating them accordingly. The Operator also monitors employee business travel and notifies security management of potential risks or alerts. Additionally, they are responsible for monitoring and communicating situational awareness information and intel alerts, as well as working with security leadership on incident documentation and CCTV footage review and download. Other responsibilities include intake and action of all service requests through phone, email, ticketing system, and initiation of incident reports or work orders for security systems where required. This position is essential to the security of the organization and performs other duties as assigned by management.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and learn under Security Global Ops team with responsibilities that generally include:
- Responsible for answering routine and emergency calls, monitoring alarms, CCTV and all other alerting platforms owned by the Global Security Operations teams
- Evaluate global incidents that may impact employees or offices and escalate accordingly
- Monitor traveler management platform and escalate according to established procedures
- Monitor and communicate situational awareness information and intel alerts and escalate to leadership and other business units as required, per established procedures
- Work with security leadership on incident documentation and CCTV footage review and download
- Intake and action all GSOC service requests through phone, email, ticketing system, email
- Create service tickets to report system failures as required detected during working hours.
- Performs other essential duties as assigned by management
REQUIREMENTS
- 0-2 years’ experience in intelligence analysis, global security, security operations management, or similar position
- College degree or equivalent experience and professional certifications preferred (APP, PSP, CPP, CTM)
- Foreign travel experience and knowledge preferred
- Experience with business continuity planning
- Strong knowledge of intelligence collection and analysis
- Expert proficiency in Power BI or other data visualization tools
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify quantify and effectively raise business risks associated with data quality
- Ability to communicate efficiently with internal team members at all levels and across functional and organizational boundaries
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management/prioritization skills
- Comfortable working against deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (fluent in English and Spanish)
