As a Manager on the Growth Marketing team, your responsibilities will include developing and executing email and in-product marketing programs aimed at engaging our users across their journey, with a focus on driving product adoption, retention, and expansion. With advanced experience in email and in-product tools, you'll serve as the primary builder and go-to expert within the team.
In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in handling complex user data to build dynamic, personalized messaging and journeys. You have experience in constructing email templates and creating advanced workflows within email and in-product automation tools.
You have a solid, cross-functional knowledge of the customer journey, including onboarding, adoption, engagement, and executing marketing programs both in and out of the product.
Additionally, you have experience in marketing to developers to drive early-stage planning all the way through to cross-functional execution. You possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
This is a highly visible role that requires a change agent with natural leadership skills and the ability to work across multiple teams with members at different levels. You are adept at thinking strategically and tactically to get things done by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Data Analytics, and Developer Relations.
We are looking for an individual who is a problem solver, detail-oriented, collaborative, creative, data-driven, strategic, organized, and a trusted partner. This role will report into the Senior Manager, Growth Marketing and can be based in New York, Austin, Seattle or remotely in the US.
In particular, you will:
- Partner with other Growth Marketers, Analytics, Marketing Operations, Growth Product, Developer Relations, and Product Marketing to engage, retain, and monetize users through the creation of personalized digital experiences
- Build and execute complex dynamic email and in-product nurture programs
- Develop a deep understanding of all new and existing Growth Marketing programs to ensure messaging relevancy and timing
- Partner with Marketing Operations to continue building out the data infrastructure to support Growth Marketing programs
- Collaborate closely with other growth marketers to optimize user onboarding, engagement, and monetization, and continuously optimize programs and channels through new surface areas, experiments and A/B tests
- Partner with Analytics to own baseline reporting across Growth Marketing and develop standard reporting processes
- Take experiments through the full journey of ideation, planning, content creation, launch, and iteration
We’re looking for someone with …
- 5+ years of B2D or B2B experience in growth marketing, growth product, and/or product marketing, ideally in SaaS/Self-Serve. Product-led growth and 2+ years of experience in marketing to a technical audience desired
- 5+ years in CRM/Lifecycle Marketing with demonstrated proficiency in building highly dynamic email nurture programs and in-product messaging workflows
- Expertise in email marketing, with extensive experience in HTML/CSS and thorough knowledge of email marketing best practices
- Proficiency in utilizing complex user data to develop segmentation strategies and create dynamic, advanced email and in-product workflows from scratch
- Expert knowledge of Iterable and in-product tools (e.g. Intercom/Pendo) and the ability to train Growth Marketing team members on functionality and best practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects with cross-functional teams effectively
- Strong analytical skills, capable of reporting on Growth Marketing programs and delivering data-driven recommendations
