Affirm's Marketing team is looking for a dynamic and analytically minded senior professional to drive strategy and key points of execution on paid media campaigns in partnership with external media agencies. Our Growth Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing successful paid media programs with internal and external partners, as well as specialized agencies, providing actionable recommendations for the most effective channels and campaigns to maximize ROI. The ideal candidate would be excited to leverage strategic thinking to build comprehensive campaigns that achieve business critical OKRs. In addition to being a phenomenal strategist and media guru, they should also be ready to roll up their sleeves and get in the details on systems and tools used to manage paid media campaigns. A passion for data-driven decision making, experience working with or as an extension of an analytics team, and deep knowledge of key systems and tools such as Google Tag Manager are critical.
What You'll Do
- Leads paid media strategies in partnership with Brand, Partner Marketing (B2C) and Platform (B2B) teams
- Manages ongoing collaboration with media agencies
- In partnership with media agency develops comprehensive testing schedules and implements rigorous frameworks to drive learnings
- Assists campaign drivers with campaign optimizations and reporting alongside analytics
- Drives shifts in our paid media strategies based on experiment outcomes and progress to OKRs
- Educate and influence executives through data driven analysis of paid media campaigns and deep subject matter expertise
What We Look For
- 7 years of experience in performance marketing or growth marketing role
- Media agency experience or experience in an in-house media team is preferred, but not required
- Exposure to both B2C and B2B media planning and campaigns
- An understanding of the intersection between media planning and creative development
- Deep experience and understanding of marketing analytics
- Data-first mindset
- Strong communication ability - being able to clearly present learnings and recommendations at an executive level
- Experience running paid ads across retail media networks as well as publishers, Meta, Google, Pinterest, and other digital marketing channels
- Experience with MarTech tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Campaign Manager 360, and Looker.
Base Pay Grade - K
Equity Grade - 6
Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include equity rewards, monthly stipends for health, wellness and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents.)
USA base pay range (CA, WA, NY, NJ, CT) per year: $140,000 - $190,000
USA base pay range (all other U.S. states) per year: $124,000 - $174,000
