The Role
We are currently seeking a Group Product Manager to join our Data Enablement team!
Data Enablement's mission is to empower Addepar’s employees and clients with a scalable Operating Platform, inclusive of new workflows, products, and cloud-based tooling that works seamlessly across multiple regions. The team provides interdisciplinary product management, helping Engineering teams increase their impact and implement solutions that:
- Elevate the platform user experience
- Reduce operational risk
- Enable Addepar’s growth in new and existing markets
The DE team is driving Addepar's transition from legacy tools and processes to a more scalable global operating model.
What You’ll Do
- Set the gold standard for developing requirements that transform raw market data into functional content on our platform.
- Be a “player-coach”. Lead by example and manage a team of PMs building the future of market data at Addepar.
- Design and implement prioritisation frameworks and processes. Ensure that work is aligned with business goals and priorities.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Addepar’s market data products and workflows. Use this knowledge to make strategic decisions and drive new and innovative opportunities to improve client experience.
- Drive the delivery of high-quality, timely, and reliable data product solutions, including the onboarding of new data feeds, development of data assets to support new product lines, and optimisation of operational procedures.
- Build consensus across R&D to prioritise increments of work based on level of effort, interdependencies, and other relevant criteria, with a focus on delivering new market data content, improving data quality, and enhancing controls and entitlements.
Who You Are
- 7+ years of relevant work experience and education that demonstrate proficiency in product management, market data, and user workflows.
- Domain knowledge/expertise regarding market data processing workflows, financial products, and data models.
- Solid understanding of agile and lean principles, with the ability to apply these principles to lead teams and drive delivery.
- A creative (non-dogmatic) approach to projects, willingness to experiment, and ability to guide teams toward activities and processes that best suit project goals.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies for achieving objectives, including the selection and implementation of tools and techniques.
- Ability to perform Project and Scrum Management tasks such as task assignment, ensuring designs and requirements are ready when needed for work to begin, leading agile ceremonies, coordinating dependencies across functions, setting expectations with Account Managers, etc)
- Ability to set your team up for success through leadership, sense of purpose, accountability, and initiative.
- Ability to partner with a variety of team members (from highly technical to non-technical business colleagues) and work in a cross-functional setting.
- A confident and positive demeanour with low ego; high degree of ingenuity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills; ability to work within ambiguity.
