About the role:
As a Full-Stack Tech Lead (APAC) for our dynamic team, you will spearhead the development of an advanced dashboard and the EigenLayer Insights API, pivotal components reshaping the future of Ethereum's security and trust mechanisms.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Development: Oversee the end-to-end development of the EigenLayer dashboard and Insights API, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust performance.
- Innovate Solutions: Collaborate with a talented team of developers, product managers, and designers to create innovative solutions that provide insightful and actionable data visualizations through the dashboard and API.
- Drive Quality: Implement best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure the highest quality standards are met for both the dashboard and the API.
- Mentor and Grow: Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within your team, mentoring junior developers and driving technical excellence.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to strategic planning sessions to align the development of the dashboard and API with EigenLayer's broader goals and user needs.
Must Haves:
- Excellent skills in modern JavaScript / Typescript
- A deep understanding of the architecture of modern client- and server-side React applications
- Proven experience in leading development teams and managing complex projects.
- Experienced in designing scalable APIs in JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experienced in testing backend and frontend JavaScript / TypeScript code
- Expertise in architecture principles, design patterns, and the ability to analyze and address trade-offs in business requirements, system performance, reliability, and maintainability.
- Creative thinker with a knack for solving intricate technical challenges.
- Experience in working closely with a DevOps team to design and deploy cloud-native infrastructure, to ensure scalability and reliability.
- The ability to work independently, make informed decisions, and take initiative without needing constant supervision, ensuring high productivity and effective problem-solving.
Nice to Haves:
- Project Management experience
- Familiarity with the web3 frontend stack (ethers.js/web3.js, EIP-1193, client-side private key management, etc.)
- Blockchain development experience, specifically around indexing blockchain data for querying
