We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Freelance Graphics Designer (Social Media & Web) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing engaging social media content, landing pages, and marketing materials, while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.
As a Freelance Graphics Designer, you will manage various design tasks, from social media posts to website updates, collaborating closely with our team to deliver high-quality visuals that align with our brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design social media content (5 posts, 10 stories, 1 infographic per week) using Canva.
- Create and update landing pages using Elementor.
- Edit app demos and other visuals in Figma.
- Maintain strict branding guidelines across all design projects.
- Collaborate with the team to design marketing materials such as one-pagers and partner collateral.
- Manage design tasks using Google Sheets and communicate via Slack.
- Ensure social media posts are published according to a strict schedule.
- Work on ad hoc design projects like sales collateral and web updates.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in graphic design, particularly in social media and branding.
- Proficiency in Canva, Figma, and Google Sheets/Slides.
- Experience with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite.
- Experience working with video - editing short and long-form clips in Canva - “Day in the Life/Client Testimonials.”
- Experience with Elementor is an asset.
- CSS proficiency is an asset.
- Strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work, especially in social media.
- Experience working in fast-paced environments, preferably within the technology or startup sectors.
- Ability to follow brand guidelines and produce high-quality designs under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Time Commitment:
20 hours per week with strict deadlines for social media posts and flexible deadlines for other projects.
