The FP&A Manager will work closely with the Director of Finance & Accounting to budget, forecast, and analyze company performance across all functions. This role will own the company financial model and will lead strategic analyses. This is a highly visible role that will partner with leaders throughout the organization to manage the financial forecast and analyze performance for board reporting.
What you’ll do:
- Work closely with the Director of Finance & Accounting on core strategic financial and planning processes at the corporate, functional, and departmental levels, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance tracking & analysis.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial and business models to support financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.
- Serve as the Finance business partner to key decision makers across the organization.
- Ensure the ongoing delivery of quality analytics and reporting, including headcount, revenue, operating expenses, cash flow, and analysis of actual to expected performance.
- Partner with the Director of Finance & Accounting and CEO directly in communications with the board, leadership team, investors, and other stakeholders; prepare materials, conduct analysis, and help shape our narrative.
- Perform ad-hoc financial modeling and analysis to support informed, strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement throughout finance and accounting and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the broader finance team.
- Provide Financial Operations support to the Director of Finance & Accounting.
What we're looking for:
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in a combination of FP&A or Strategic Finance at a high-growth tech company, consulting, or Big 4.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, building three-statement financial models, and analytics and visualization tools
- Eagerness to learn and willingness to take on new challenges
- This role requires a self-starter, keen attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
- History of building positive relationships with people and teams across a broad, diverse organization
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Accounting is a plus
