Senior International and Consolidation Accounting Manager


What You Will Be Doing

  • Manage ChargePoint India subsidiary’s accounting and compliance. This role involves managing all aspects of ChargePoint India financial processes, including but not limited to, bookkeeping, financial reporting, tax filings, and audits, in line with Indian regulatory requirements. Collaborate closely with a dedicated team member to maintain a robust compliance framework, identify and mitigate financial risks, and implement best practices for financial management to support the subsidiary's strategic objectives.
  • Lead foreign subsidiaries’ annual audits, serve as the primary liaison between the company and external auditors, organize and oversee all audit-related activities to ensure timely and accurate audit completion
  • Maintain foreign subsidiary’s statutory books, incorporate  audit adjustments and post-close entries to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Back up for Company’s intercompany transactions and processes
  • Assist on various projects as they arise

Finance Manager Qualifications / Skills

  • Team Leadership: ability to inspire and coordinate team activities, especially for local India accounting team
  • Independence: capable of operating autonomously, handle tasks without constant supervision
  •  Deadline-Oriented: be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail: ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks
  • Organizational: highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Responsibility: takes ownership of tasks and responsibilities, ensuring completion with comprehensiveness and diligence
  • Project Management: skilled at managing multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating versatility and efficiency
  • Analytical Proficiency: adept at analysing complex information, identify key insights and making informed decisions
  • Communication Skills: exceptional proficiency in English, both verbal and written, additional language skills are advantageous
  • Microsoft Office Mastery: strong computer skills with the Microsoft Office® suite of products, the candidate should demonstrate the ability to leverage advanced features of these applications to optimize workflows, enhance productivity, and deliver professional-quality documents and analyses
  • Location: must be in Gurgaon or nearby location

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimal Bachelor's Degree in accounting or tax, preferred
  • Chartered Accountant required
  • Minimal 7-8 years relevant accounting include 3-4 years working knowledge of audits
  • 3-5 years managerial experience
