Join Our Team as a Facilities Engineer (New Facilities Introduction)! 🌎🛻

Are you an experienced Facilities Engineer with a passion for innovation and excellence? Do you have a C1 English level or above? Are you legally able to work in Mexico and open to relocating to the UK after an initial period? If so, we want to hear from you!

 About the Role: As a Facilities Engineer (New Facilities Introduction), you will play a pivotal role in introducing new facilities, materials, product lines, and vehicle freshening programs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing feasibility of new facilities and processes, and managing projects for cost, quality, and timing.
  • Providing the required capability and capacity at the facilities, aligned with programme milestones, launch plans, and production requirements.
  • Developing engineering solutions suited to facility capabilities and process characteristics.
  • Creating robust and lean layout solutions to support project delivery and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinating with all relevant stakeholders for acceptance, buy-off, and successful handover of new or modified facilities.
  • Collaborating with Manufacturing and other Engineering disciplines to deliver programs and projects to cost targets and timing.
  • Managing facility documentation in line with Manufacturing Engineering procedures and supporting audits.
  • Leading and participating in multifunctional New Equipment Procurement Teams through all project phases, ensuring compliance with procurement procedures.
  • Tracking project KPIs and reporting to the departmental manager weekly.

Qualifications

🎓 Qualifications Required:

  • Sound engineering and manufacturing background with previous experience in Facilities Development and Engineering.
  • Experience of reliability and maintainability principles and an understanding of the environmental impacts of engineering solutions.
  • Ability to control and manage suppliers (both Material & Equipment).
  • Working knowledge of the application of lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
  • Contract and performance management experience.
  • Good working knowledge of CDM regulations.
  • Previous experience of Supplier selection and tender management.
  • Working knowledge of electrical control systems employed with automated equipment and conveyor equipment.

🎯 Requirements:

  • C1 English level or above.
  • Legally able to work in Mexico already
  • Willingness to relocate to the UK after an initial period.

Additional Information

Notice that during a period you work from mexico in home office and then when you travel to Europe you will work on-site 
One of the skills requered are to be so careful with the detail attention, please read carefully.
