In this role, you will:
- Be responsible for end-to-end event management, planning, coordination and execution, ensuring seamless logistics and a flawless attendee journey.
- Create and execute high-quality, immersive white-glove experiences to leave a lasting impact on attendees.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to align event strategies with business impact.
- Be responsible for strategically planning events tailored to our specific business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and goals.
- Manage event budget, evaluate results against goals, and generate learnings for improvement.
- Stay ahead of trends and innovations, continuously infusing fresh ideas to enhance the quality of our events.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices.
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 4+ years of experience in white-glove events planning, event production, event marketing, and/or project management
- Fluent in English
- 50% travel required for event experiences
- Strong communication, negotiation, and budget-management skills, with the ability to work across different levels of an organization
- Segmentation skills and being able to understand different audiences and their needs to develop experiences
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing environment and run multiple concurrent project demands within established timelines
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
