The idea Enterprise Account Executive will be an experienced salesperson who is comfortable and has a proven track record generating sales leads with new clients and maintaining relationships with existing ones. The candidate will be able to understand prospective client's needs and offer ideal solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and have a positive track record of exceeding outlined goals. This person must have experience selling SaaS, with a preference in the Public Sector (counties, cities or towns a plus).
The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve a balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.
The goal is to find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction, while understanding the urgency and need to close deals.
Role & Responsibilities
- Prospect clients and understand their needs
- Introducing products/service to prospective clients/customers
- Exceed sales quotas
- Accurate forecasting and deal qualification
- Negotiating agreements
- Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Account ownership and customer satisfaction
- Travel in territory (50% of the time)
Minimum Qualifications
- 6+ years' experience as an Enterprise Account Executive
- Strong understanding of the sales process
- Demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them
- Excellent listening and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Hunter mentality to find new business
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
- Past/present experience selling SasS based solutions (state, local, county or city selling experience a plus)
- Possessing good business acumen
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with RFPs and government contracts
- CRM experience
- Excellent sales hygiene and follow up
- Coachable and open to constructive feedback
- BA/BS preferred
