What You Will Be Doing:
We’re seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team within the Consumer Product Group, overseeing the growth and success of our product subscription services across both web and mobile platforms. This role focuses on enhancing user engagement, retention, and satisfaction through well-designed, customer-centric subscription products for features including the Coinbase retail app, advanced trade, dapps, and staking—all aimed at becoming the #1 self-custody wallet in the market.
Lead a dedicated team focused on delivering best-in-class subscription experiences, ensuring they meet both user needs and business goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product management, and senior leadership to translate the product vision into a clear, actionable roadmap, with a focus on subscription models that drive user engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
Define and oversee the execution of projects to optimize subscription sign-ups, retention, and renewal rates, driving value for both the organization and users.
Champion product subscription strategies that are rooted in deep user insights, leveraging data to inform feature prioritization and enhancements.
Maintain and implement processes that support the high availability and reliability of our subscription services, ensuring the seamless operation of paid features across platforms.
Act as a thought leader in the subscription product space, advocating for a culture of data-driven decisions, customer focus, and product excellence.
What We Look for in You:
7+ years of experience in product or engineering management, including at least 2 years overseeing subscription-based products.
Proven track record in managing teams that deliver scalable and user-friendly subscription services, with demonstrated success in driving key metrics related to subscription growth and retention.
Expertise in creating high-quality, reliable services that support a growing subscription base across web and mobile platforms.
Deep understanding of what constitutes a valuable subscription experience, with a strong focus on user engagement, retention, and satisfaction.
A strategic mindset that balances short-term execution with long-term planning, enabling impactful results that align with our mission and business goals.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence the direction of subscription offerings.
