Description
The Education Consultant is responsible for assisting a Principal Educational Consultants and above in the development of eLearning and instructor-led courses on Model N’s products and technologies. This person works closely with all members of the Education Services department, and reports to the Director of Education Services.
The incumbent needs strong instructional design and written communication skills to develop training content geared toward adult learners, including robust scenarios, hands-on exercises and assessments of skills and knowledge being taught. After 6-12 months which includes mentoring and supervision by a senior instructor, this person will be expected to begin taking on live customer training responsibilities.
The incumbent will: work closely with Model N’s services, product team and other subject matter experts on content development; identify appropriate training media and methodologies based on audience learning styles and course content; design creative approaches to meet the objectives and goals of the training; create a variety of performance support and quick reference guides to supplement training material; update training materials when Model N releases updated versions of our software; assist with Learning Library tasks; and other support duties as they arise.

Compensation varies depending on factors that may include a candidate’s relevant experience, education and/or certifications, location, training, and other skills. Positions are eligible to participate in either our employee bonus program or commission payments, depending on the nature of the role.
