Clinical Manager, Management Consultation
The Clinical Manager must be highly responsive, collaborative, and able to manage both clinical and operational responsibilities. A flexible approach and strong work ethic will be necessary to meet business, member, and team needs. What you’ll be doing:
- Lead mental health clinicians who may serve our book of business customers or who are dedicated to specific customers
- Supervise and direct team in activities such as assessment and referral, ongoing case management, crisis counseling, and on-site or virtual group programs and trainings.
- Oversee the consistent high quality delivery of management consultation and management referral services (Including serving customers who must abide by federal and state regulations)
- Ensure that timely and effective Critical Incident Response is delivered as needed
- Hire, onboard, train, deliver feedback, conduct team and 1:1 meetings, and support the professional growth of teams.
- Develop team productivity benchmarks and monitor workloads.
- Focus on continuous quality improvement, clinical excellence, and solution-oriented problem solving.
- Conducts quality reviews and provides constructive feedback to team members and to the clinical leadership team.
- Create or update EAP clinical policies in partnership with the Clinical Director and ensure the team complies with laws, regulations and ethical standards.
- Be a clinical liaison with clinical operations, sales, product, and partnership success teams to develop and improve EAP services and programs.
- Collaborate in the development and delivery of programs and presentations to membership for customer accounts, as well as various other marketing and informational initiatives.
- Be a point of contact with EAP clinical vendor partners as assigned.
What we expect from you:
- LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent independent licensure.
- 10+ years of behavioral health experience including EAP and management consultation experience.
- 5+ years of experience managing multi-functional clinical teams.
- SAP qualified preferred
- CEAP certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of SUD and LOC as well as best practices for navigating substance use in the workplace
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Understanding of HIPAA as well as EAP best practices.
- Comfortable in amorphous environments and with constantly evolving responsibilities.
- Tech-savvy: very comfortable adopting new technologies and platforms and efficient in tech-related tasks.
The target salary range for this position is $97,700 - $114,500 , and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options, benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.
