About the Role:
As a leader on the finance and accounting team, you will play a critical role in driving strategic, operational, and financial decisions that will impact the overall trajectory of the company. In addition to managing and building out the ideal finance function, you can expect to dive deep into problems and work closely with team members across the entire business. Responsibilities:
- Lead all finance operations including FP&A, Strategic Finance, and Accounting activities such as reporting, forecasts, planning, budgets, treasury management, and financial audits
- Lead the build out and maintenance of forecasts, operating models, and scenario analyses that help steer the company and promote efficient capital allocation
- Dive deep, plan, and execute on projects across the organization to drive business improvements both in the marketplace and internally
- Collaborate with various teams, including product, sales, and strategy and operations, to ensure financial strategies align with company objectives
- Maintain a pulse on the markets, public and private, to track how the company is performing relative to its comps and also to stay in front of potential corporate development opportunities that could accelerate strategic objectives
- Communicate, engage, and interact with broader leadership team and company Board of Directors to formulate and achieve strategic goals
- Recruit, hire, and manage members of the broader finance and accounting team
Requirements:
- Superior analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities
- Ability to deconstruct complex problems and drive to a data-driven solution
- Excellent communication skills, both written (we do a lot of writing) and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting
- Relentless sense of ownership, curiosity, and initiative
- Experience scaling the finance and accounting team of a high growth business
