This is a hybrid role based out of our San Francisco office. Office attendance is required at least twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for collaboration and connection. There may be additional in-office days for team or company events.
The Director, Pricing & Packaging role is intended to own, define and execute Ironclad’s pricing strategy across all products and services, including the packaging, pricing architecture and value pricing. This role is critical in bringing structure and operational rigor to launch and scale revenue-generating pricing models and will be responsible for the end-to-end pricing lifecycle, from initial strategy and analysis to enablement and comms.
This role is cross-functional, partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, Finance and Marketing to ensure our pricing strategy drives revenue growth and customer value realization.
What you'll do:
Own end-to-end pricing strategy: Define, articulate and enable Ironclad’s pricing and packaging strategy across all offerings. Partner closely with Product and Engineering to partner on roadmap pricing implications
Strategic initiatives: Lead high-priority pricing projects, including the development of Ironclad’s AI pricing strategy, inclusive of new pricing models, including usage-based pricing) and product/feature launches.
Cross-functional stakeholder leadership: serve as the primary pricing subject matter expert and trusted advisor to cross-functional partners and the executive team on all pricing and packaging initiatives
Governance & reporting: Establish clear monetization principles, pricing governance, define core pricing metrics and drive alignment with Pricing Council prior to product launches. Includes establishing pricing policies across customer segments and ensuring evergreen updates to pricing framework and strategies based on customer feedback, competitive intelligence and business performance
Execution & enablement: partner with Product Marketing to ensure clear comms for sales and external customers
Who are you?
8+ years of experience in pricing and packaging, including usage-based pricing
Deep experience in Product and Pricing analysis.
Deep experience collaborating with Product, Finance and Sales organizations as it relates to product and solution monetization and commercialization
Experience managing analytics projects from creation to delivery, including developing structured solutions.
You are an extraordinary communicator and project manager. You have the ability to prioritize projects and clearly communicate timelines to your team and stakeholders.

Base Salary Range: $190,000.00 - $230,000.00
The base salary range represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position based at our San Francisco headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors, including individual proficiency, anticipated performance, and the location of the selected candidate.
