About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to enable Rula’s Finance Team through expert leadership in both internal and external financial initiatives. This person will be responsible for conducting strategic analyses, evaluating ROI, facilitating long-range planning, and fostering business partnerships. Additionally, they will manage investor relations and lead fundraising efforts. This person will apply their deep financial expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to drive the company’s financial performance and growth. As a key advisor to the executive team, this individual will influence decision-making and ensure the financial health of Rula.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 8+ years of Financial experience
Minimum 4+ years of in-house experience in a company or start-up
Demonstrated impact working with investors and/or fundraising (sell-side, buy-side, or in-house)
Expert in month end close, operational financial modeling, and long range forecasting
Experience creating or working with ROI and unit economic frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in high growth startup
Prior experience in Banking or Private equity
Has experience running a P&L for a business unit
Experience in marketplace businesses
