Director of Sales Engineering

Overview: Join Interface.AI as a Customer Engineering Director, where you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our cutting-edge AI solutions. As the Customer Engineering Director, you will lead technical engagements with our customers, collaborating closely to ensure the seamless integration and adoption of our AI products.

What You Will Do

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and engineering teams to ensure a deep understanding of customer requirements
  • Oversee the successful implementation and integration of our AI solutions into customer environments.
  • Work closely with the technical teams to address and resolve any technical challenges faced by customers.
  • Act as a bridge between customers and our product team, providing valuable feedback on product enhancements and improvements based on customer experiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape to provide strategic technical guidance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in AI and machine learning, both internally and externally.
  • Partner closely with the Customer Success group to drive initiatives ensuring customers derive maximum value from our AI products.
  • Work collaboratively to develop and implement strategies to measure and improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Bring experience from having been part of a fast-growing organization, demonstrating an ability to thrive in dynamic environments and drive scalability.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and support teams to align customer engineering efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Work closely with product management to prioritize features and enhancements based on customer needs.


What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering)
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing technical leadership role, preferably in AI or related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, with the ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in Fintech or banking is a nice-to-have.
  • Demonstrated success in technical customer engagement and collaboration.
  • Experience in a fast-growing organization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.



  • Compensation is expected to be between $170,000 - $210,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills and location.
