Overview:
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Pricing to lead our pricing and packaging efforts. This role requires a proven track record of developing and implementing effective pricing strategies, with a deep understanding of SaaS business models. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling product offerings that meet customer needs and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing and Packaging Strategy: Develop and implement innovative pricing and packaging strategies for our software products, optimizing bundles, editions, and add-ons to align with customer preferences and business objectives.
- Data Analysis and Financial Modeling: Conduct in-depth data analysis and financial modeling to forecast pricing impacts, revenue potential, and profitability, ensuring decisions are grounded in quantitative insights.
- Value Proposition Development: Craft compelling value propositions and messaging for different product tiers and customer segments, clearly communicating the benefits and differentiation of each offering.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Finance teams to align pricing strategies with go-to-market initiatives, product launches, and business growth plans.
- Sales Enablement: Collaborate with sales teams to create effective sales tools and collateral that support pricing and packaging initiatives, empowering them to effectively communicate value to prospects and customers
- Pricing Tools Proficiency: Utilize pricing and packaging tools or platforms (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, pricing optimization tools) to streamline processes, assess pricing strategies, and optimize revenue outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in pricing strategy, with a proven track record in developing and implementing pricing and packaging for software products, particularly in a SaaS environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong expertise in data analysis, financial modeling, and revenue forecasting related to pricing strategies.
- Packaging Optimization: Experience in creating and optimizing product packaging that aligns with customer needs and enhances revenue potential.
- Compelling Messaging: Ability to craft and communicate compelling value propositions for different product tiers and market segments.
- Strategic Insight: Proficiency in scenario planning and assessing pricing impact to forecast revenue accurately.
- Familiarity with Tools: Experience with pricing and packaging tools or platforms, such as Salesforce CPQ or other pricing optimization solutions.

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $155,000 - $247,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.
Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial.
