Position Title: Director of Performance Marketing 

Reports To: Chief Growth Officer

Location: Remote ; Some Travel Required

Compensation: $100,000-$180,000 Annual Salary 

 

Position Overview: As the Director of Performance Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and executing the overall paid search and advertising strategy to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions across all relevant digital platforms. You will manage budgets and analyze campaign performance to optimize ROI and achieve business objectives.

 


 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in paid search marketing, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
  • In-depth knowledge of paid search advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads), ad formats, bidding strategies, and optimization techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and data insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous learning, able to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and technology trends.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid search strategies across various digital platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Bing Ads, social media advertising) to achieve business goals such as lead generation, sales, and brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, and creative to align paid search initiatives with broader marketing objectives and ensure cohesive campaign execution.
  • Manage paid search budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to maximize ROI and achieve target KPIs.
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, audience targeting, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and optimize campaign performance.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CPA, ROAS) regularly, leveraging data insights to refine strategies, optimize campaigns, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in paid search advertising, and recommend innovative approaches to enhance campaign effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners including advertising platforms, agencies, and vendors, negotiating contracts and optimizing partnerships to drive business results.
  • Develop and present regular reports and presentations to senior management, summarizing campaign performance, key insights, and recommended actions.
