JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a Director of MIS and IT to lead our technology initiatives and manage our IT infrastructure across all locations. On one side, this pivotal role covers IT and cybersecurity responsibilities such as creating the security roadmap and overseeing desktop support, IT, and network infrastructure. On the other side, this role oversees business systems (e.g. ERP) to ensure smooth business operations and continuously improves productivity through technology.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of technology's role in driving business success in the consumer electronics sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage a team of 8 IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Manage our ERP (Acumatica) and other business systems, ensuring they meet our business needs and are effectively integrated.
- Collaborate with department heads and stakeholders to identify and implement technology solutions that support business objectives and streamline operations.
- Oversee the maintenance, development, and implementation of all IT systems, including network infrastructure, security measures, desktop support, and business systems.
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for data security, disaster recovery, and system integrity.
- Oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement and deployment of technology resources.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements in the consumer electronics and gaming industry, evaluating and recommending innovative solutions to drive growth.
- Ensure compliance with international IT standards and regulations across all operating regions.
- Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers, negotiating contracts to secure the best terms and services for the company.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT management, with at least 8 years in a leadership role within the consumer electronics or related industry.
- experience with Acumatica is a plus
- new system implementation is a must
- Proven track record in managing business systems, particularly experience with ERP
- Excellent strategic planning and project management skills
- Strong technical expertise in IT infrastructure, network security, and cyber security.
- Proven track record of leading and developing IT teams and managing large-scale IT projects.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in managing IT operations across multiple international locations is highly desirable.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin Chinese being a big plus.
