What You’ll Do
As the Director of Market Operations, you will be accountable for the P&L of your CKCC and MSO market and oversee all aspects of medical practice operations, including clinic, in-home, and virtual settings across your region. This role will be responsible for leading a team consisting of Practice Managers, Practice Associates, and Clinical Teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services while optimizing provider resources and team performance on quality and productivity metrics. The Director of Market Operations will collaborate closely with Regulatory Readiness and Compliance teams to ensure the safe and compliant delivery of care. Additionally, you will own the external nephrology relationships for practices that have partnered with Strive. In this role, the Operations leader will have broad market oversight, but work closely with the local clinical lead, Medical Director, and central operations team to enable the team to deliver great care. This individual takes a data-driven approach to leadership, holding the team accountable, and designing and implementing new strategies as needed. This highly critical role ensures our vulnerable CKD and ESRD patients have the highest level of quality and continuity of care.
The Day to Day
- Accountable for market performance, using data to track trends and change strategies as needed
- An internal advocate for the market clinical team, including liaising with a cross functional team including analytics, legal, compliance, clinical and market development
- Owns and manages relationship and performance of assigned provider groups. Serves as primary point of contact for assigned providers
- Communicates and shares provider reporting, focusing on areas for improvement
- Plans, prepares, and executes effective provider group meetings/discussion with proper objectives and expected outcomes.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Market Operations team to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of medical practice operations.
- Oversee the performance of Practice Manager/Associates and Clinical Teams, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to quality, productivity, and contract performance metrics.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient access and engagement across clinic, in-home, and virtual care settings.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to provider resources, team performance, and patient outcomes, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, including technology adoption, process optimization, and resource allocation.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the Market Operations team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical partners, including healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, and other stakeholders, to support network development and provider integration within the market.
- Oversee the hiring, onboarding, and retention of staff within the Market Operations team, ensuring the recruitment of top talent, effective onboarding processes, and the implementation of strategies to promote employee engagement and retention.
Minimum Qualifications
- 8+ years of healthcare experience, with specific experience in engaging with Providers
- 2+ years of experience in managing/building high quality Provider Networks
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree (MHA, MBA, MPH, MSN) preferred
- Ability to travel, primarily locally, up to 75% of the time
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable presenting to Providers and driving the conversation, answering unscripted questions, and building relationships based on subject matter expertise
- Ability to be strategic as well as tactical
- Comfortable reviewing data and reporting with provider groups and using analytics to drive clinical outcomes, quality improvements, and operational efficiencies
- Able to identify a problem, develop plan and execute to resolution, and communicate progress to stakeholders
- Comfortable with project management techniques and able to develop a project plan that includes collaborating with market leadership and supporting departments

Annual Salary Range: $130,000.00-$163,000.00
