About the Role:
The Director is the focal point for controlling risk and disseminating information gained from onsite examination of Pathward’s Working Capital Clients. These underlying strengths must be used to educate, to strategize with, and continually mentor those involved in the field exam process.
What You Will Do:
- Overall management of the Field Exam Training Program, including recruitment, training, and promotions at all levels.
- Direct annual Intern program.
- Set field exam scope and audit templates for the bank.
- Responsible to set, monitor and report individual and team SMART goals to upper management.
- Responsible for budgeting process for Field Exam Department.
- Responsible for financial performance and expense control for Field Exam Department.
- Conduct fields exams as necessary.
- Ensure field exams are completed on timely basis, within program standard requirements, and within individual credit approval requirements.
- Oversee review process for all recurring and survey field exams for content, adequacy, and relevance.
- Oversee internal and external field exam billing process.
- Control the process for approving outside field exam vendors and maintain list of approved vendors.
- Collaborate with other departments within Pathward, including Underwriting, Portfolio, and Credit Administration.
- Utilize the Field Exam team as a “credit utility” to support other credit functions during demand surges.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience.
- 5+ years experience as a field examiner
- 10+ years overall experience in Asset Based Lending and or Factoring
- Previous management and training experience
- Must be willing to travel.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.

Salary range: $99,501.91 – $183,764.31
The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this role. Individual pay within the range will be determined by multiple factors which can include but are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
