Business Systems will ultimately be responsible for the overall administration, governance and architecture of non-Engineering systems throughout Datadog including Workday, Salesforce, Greenhouse, NetSuite and other business-critical systems. We are in the process of moving from a decentralized to a hybrid systems model and are looking for a leader to help drive this change. You will help define the organizational structure, vision and responsibilities of the teams owning these systems, that will enable Datadog to scale for years to come.

What you’ll do:
- Define the hybrid business systems organizational structure and responsibilities, and then execute the vision
- Lead, mentor and recruit a team of business systems professionals in the design, implementation, and maintenance of business systems
- Create strong relationships with leadership in all parts of the organization
- Help devise and execute the operational strategy, roadmap and quarterly plans that aligns with the company’s goals and objectives
- Establish a strong business systems architecture that adheres to Datadog and industry privacy, security and compliance standards
- Drive innovation and stay informed of the latest trends and technologies in business systems
Who You Are:
- You are experienced as a people manager overseeing multiple technical teams, with multiple managers
- You have experience evaluating, implementing, and managing CRM, ERP, HRIS and other business systems, through an engineering-centric lens
- You have experience operating in a regulated and highly technical environment
- You have an engineering background, understanding the technology that connects various systems, including system integration, data architecture, data integrity and process automation
- You are a strategic forward-thinking leader with strong analytical,problem-solving, verbal and written communications skills
