Expel is on the hunt for a Director, Demand Generation and Campaigns, and we want someone who's ready to help us unlock growth! You'll be the mastermind behind our strategy, planning, and execution of campaigns, focusing on driving revenue and market recognition.   • Give you the right balance of space and support so you can lead the charge in developing and executing multi-channel campaigns with the primary goal of generating sustainable and qualified leads that contribute to the sales pipeline and overall revenue growth.

What you can do for Expel

  • Serve as the bridge between marketing and our sales team, ensuring the teams are fully aligned on how Marketing can support their efforts and vice versa.
  • Take the lead on developing strategic ABM programs tailored to the needs of our sales segments, collaborating closely with sales and marketing leadership and iterating based on performance.
  • Get creative with developing campaigns across various channels—think promoted content, webinars, ebooks, and more—to boost brand awareness, build pipeline, and smash bookings targets.
  • Dive into performance metrics alongside Marketing Operations, Sales Operations and our Strategic Finance team, crafting a system to track critical metrics and extract actionable insights to inform future plans.
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team of marketing professionals, fostering an environment of creativity, constant improvement, and growth.

What you should bring with you

  • Over 10 years in the enterprise/SaaS tech world, with at least 8 years in marketing.
  • The ability to embrace change like a pro in our fast-evolving company, where excellent execution is the name of the game.
  • Deep cybersecurity expertise with over 5 years of industry experience. You know how security execs and practitioners think, act, and buy.
  • A mastery of Account-Based Marketing, with 5+ years building and managing ABM programs. 
  • A proven track record in collaborating seamlessly with sales teams to launch and track outcomes.
  • Your leadership strengths and prior experience hiring and inspiring teams to greatness. It's all about bringing out the best in people!

Additional Notes

Pay range: $151,000 - $219,000 + bonus eligibility and equity.

We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.

Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia, however our team is mostly remote, and we have full support for remote interaction. We realize that while there is benefit to in-person interaction, good people don’t all live in Northern Virginia.
