CALSTART is seeking a Deputy Director to serve our Midwest Regional Office to support the regional office’s operational activities. The Deputy Director will report to the region’s Senior Director to further the region’s operating success. The Deputy Director will have both internal and external facing responsibilities, ranging from client and project management (business development, developing methodologies and processes, high-quality client delivery, written products), while working closely with the Senior Director to proactively provide support and ensure CALSTART’s continued success. The Deputy Director will be responsible for regional activities and operations, project management, and annual strategic planning, while also having individual project responsibilities aligned to the region’s goals and objectives in addition to the leadership aspect of this role. The Deputy Director will work closely with Program and Project Managers, supervising one or more Regional Office staff, responsibilities providing leadership guidance and hands-on support, while working to build opportunities for business development.

Desired Qualifications:
CALSTART values transparency and strives to provide as much information regarding compensation as possible. The complete salary range for this role is $105,630 -$120,260. We determine pay based on several factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, qualifications, experience, education, internal equity and other factors relevant to the job.
