We’re looking for a Data Science Manager to oversee Garner’s data-driven assessment of provider quality and manage the team of data scientists and clinical researchers that power that assessment. This role reports to Chief Data Officer Phil Salinger.
Responsibilities will include:
- Development and oversight of clinical metrics across specialties
- Management of 4-6 person team of data scientists and clinical researchers
- Development of whitepapers, blog posts, and other communications that provide industry thought leadership
Ideal candidate has:
- 8+ years of experience as a practicing data scientist
- Management experience
- A healthcare or scientific background
- A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success
- Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment

The target salary range for this position is: $200,000.00 -230,000.00 Individual compensation for this role will depend on a variety of factors including qualifications, skills and applicable laws. In addition to base compensation this role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive and competitive benefits plans.
