We’re looking for a dynamic Data Analyst Intern to support our PayNearMe team for Summer 2024. This position will report to the Sr. Director - Engineering (Data).
Job Description
What you’ll own and be responsible for:
- Data Analysis using Python Notebooks
- Looker & DBT work including clearing Tech Debt
- Documentation & Process updates
Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master's program in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases; experience with Looker preferred.
- Knowledge of Python, particularly in data analysis and using Jupyter Notebooks.
- Experience with data modeling, extraction, and reporting through academic projects or previous internships.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to tackle problems systematically.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong team project collaboration skills.
- Able to commit to a full-time role during summer and part-time during the academic year.

Location: Flexible/Remote (within the US)
Hourly rate: $20-30 / hr DOE
