About the Opportunity:  As our next Training and Advisory Specialist Senior you will have the opportunity to leverage your mortgage servicing experience as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Investor Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliation support within our LoanServ platform. Your expertise and effective communication skills will ensure your success in the role as you provide training, consultation and support to internal stakeholders and customers, alike. Familiarity with Sagent’s LoanServ product will put your candidacy ahead of the rest.

Your Day-to-Day at Sagent:

  • Support new client onboarding activities by conducting discovery and awareness sessions, performing system analysis to ensure correct configuration; customer training, conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, and post-production support.
  • Monitor the status, coordinate, and effectively communicate progress and any potential problems to team lead/project coordinator/project manager for awareness and/or resolution.
  • Analyze and determine implementation requirements and provide to client, vendor, and appropriate departments to include interfaces required and/or system feature enhancements.
  • Case management point of escalation support for existing LoanServ customers in Investor Accounting, Reporting and Reconciliation.
  • Conduct training in both classroom and virtual environments. Training topics to include Investor setup and configuration, Loan Transfers, Agency Reporting and Remittance Requirements, and Custodial Account Reconciliations.
  • Create training materials including training manuals, quick reference guides along with corresponding videos and host Sagent Extended Education (SEE) and Sagent Savvy sessions each month.
  • Participate in cross training to include additional Sagent products and functions within LoanServ with the result being the ability to support additional feature/functions and expand your knowledge base.
  • Conduct onsite and virtual advisory services which includes business process reviews, changes to system configuration, and user acceptance testing support.
  • Up to 35% travel to customer sites to deliver implementation support and training opportunities.

We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 3-4 years of experience OR 5-7 years of experience in lieu of degree. 
  • Five+ years’ experience in mortgage servicing, financial services industry, or a closely related field
  • Experience managing small to medium sized projects 
  • Thorough understanding of Agency and Private Investor Accounting, Reporting, and Custodial Account Reconciliations, GSE Support in the Mortgage Servicing Industry, 
  • Knowledge of cash flows between mortgage servicing and mortgage accounting
  • Analytical and detail-oriented qualities, are self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Ability to build sound business relationships
  • Proficient in computer system and personal computer use
