Credentialing Specialist | Inspire & Empower Change!
Location: Remote (Srongly Preferred that candidate live in Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, or Virginia)
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00Pm
About the Role
As a credentialing specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our health care providers and facilities meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- You will process applications, verify information, and research application details for credentialing and recredentialing purposes.
- You will also serve as a liaison with 3rd party payers and establish a Credential Committee with the goal of accepting delegated credentialing.
- You will manage and prioritize your work, follow and maintain an accurate database of credentialing and facility licensure, and ensure that all clinic information is accurate within payor directories.
- You will also work closely with the billing staff to identify and resolve any denials or authorization issues related to provider credentialing.
