The Creative Producer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining operating systems across the Brand team, including content, design, community, and product marketing. Your systems thinking will enable the team to prioritize, collaborate, and execute on marketing work to captivate new and existing users. You will be a key leader in defining and ensuring creative quality. You will manage agency partner relationships that expand our reach and our creative thinking. You will be critical to scaling a distinctive brand that distinguishes Descript’s position in the chaotic landscape of AI-enabled creative tools.
What You’ll Do
- Create systems: Create methods for defining initiative-level strategy and committed deliverables. Define the process by which initiatives go from planning, through asset execution, and on to measurement and retrospection.
- Deliver continuous process improvement: Identify ongoing opportunities to improve the brand team’s efficiency, and the ease with which their work’s impact can be communicated.
- Ensure quality of craft: Help the team define, document, and maintain the highest standards of craft, inspiring the team to continuously improve.
- Manage partnerships: Source, evaluate, and be the end-to-end relationship manager with creative and production partners—both with agencies of record, and limited engagements for high-visibility productions.
- Build relationships: Foster strong, collaborative relationships with creative and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with the Head of Brand: Work closely with the Head of Brand to continuously strengthen team throughput, engagement, and joy.
What You Bring
- Experience: 7+ years as a Creative Producer, ideally in a start up and/or SaaS setting.
- Organizational skills: Exceptional organizational skills and clear, effective communication.
- Multitasking ability: Comfort working on multiple projects simultaneously, with the ability to drive and prioritize as needed.
- Pragmatism: Knowing when to find a workable solution, versus the perfect one.
- Creative credibility: Being able to speak the language of creatives, earn their trust, and guide their work.
- Ownership and initiative: Willingness to take ownership and make progress in the face of ambiguity and dynamism.

The base salary range for this role is $117,000 - $165,000/year. Final offer amounts will carefully consider multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise, location, and may vary from the amount above.
