Description
We are looking for a high potential Corporate Development Analyst to support our Corporate Development activities including acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships and investments. A finance professional at heart with a drive to get things done, you are passionate about bringing technological change to the Healthcare industry and building a multi-billion dollar business. A master juggler working on multiple initiatives at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big picture challenges.
Responsibilities
- Analyze opportunities to grow the company’s various business lines through acquisitions and other structured transactions while supporting portfolio optimization activities including divestitures, spin-offs, etc.
- Coordinate end-to-end deal process from market / competitor analysis, financial modeling, valuation, data room, due diligence, preparation of decks for reviews with senior management and the Verily Board, and post-acquisition integration workstreams.
- Partner with cross-functional teams across Verily and Alphabet to support alignment on various M&A activities.
- Support discussions with external stakeholders including partner companies, bankers, private equity and venture capital funds.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent degree in Engineering, Business or Finance.
- 2+ years relevant work experience in investment banking, finance, management consulting, or similar role with experience working on live M&A transactions.
- Understanding and knowledge of corporate finance and accounting.
- Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.
- Proven Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint skills
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational and analytical skills, and the capability to handle multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to synthesize complex concepts for relevant audience
- Relevant experience in Healthcare services, HealthTech or Technology preferred but not required.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $103,000 - $146,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
