This is an engagement through Upwork’s Hybrid Workforce Solutions (HWS) Team. Our Hybrid Workforce Solutions Team is a global group of professionals that support Upwork’s business. Our HWS team members are located all over the world.
Work/Project Scope:
- Responsible for helping our team on several initiatives to enhance and scale our IT Infrastructure needs in a fast-growing SaaS environment.
- Provide technical expertise while working with cross-functional teams to achieve compliance, revamping our Identity Management System, integrating applications with our Identity Provider and improving/enhancing existing services hosted by Upwork Corporate Technology.
Must Haves (Required Skills):
- DevOps mindset to approaching problems
- Experience with Configuration Management(Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)
- Ability to manage own projects, meet deadlines, and communicate with stakeholders across multiple teams and geographies.
- Comfortable in at least one of the following scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Go)
- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Container orchestration
- Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies
- 3 Years of experience in AWS/Azure/GCP
- Comfortable with Linux and Windows systems
- Ability to join the on-call rotation, 1 week every 2 months
- Able to work during Central Standard Time business hours during the training period
