Job Description
We’re looking for a technical and experienced Content Marketer to join the marketing team at Tailscale. As a content marketer, you will work closely with other members of the marketing team to bring to life stories about how Tailscale is building the new Internet. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with product marketing and growth marketing teams to identify, develop, and produce effective content
- Helping position Tailscale as a thought leader in networking and security, and increasing awareness of these issues through impactful content
- Creating not just content, but programs for content that can scale
Requirements
- Strong writing and editing skills background
- Experience managing content vendors and contractors
- Experience in on-page SEO optimization
- The ability to manage content development projects from start to finish independently
- Excellent people skills — this role will interact with many cross-functional teams and the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively will be critical to the success of this role
- Previous experience as a freelance writer, content writer, editor, copywriter, copy editor, or experience in journalism and/or media is preferred but not required

- Experience with security products used in SaaS or cloud environments
