Job Description
Join the IT Infrastructure Support Team at Eurofins Food, Feed & Agro Testing Europe and become part of a dynamic and growing international organisation. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining current and newly deployed segregated IT User Zones as well as server, storage, and backup infrastructures for Application Availability Groups. Your tasks will include supporting daily operations and project workloads, including designing, planning and implementing new infrastructure or migrating existing network components across the Food & Environment Testing businesses in Europe.
The aforementioned projects will involve installations, configurations, and migrations of enterprise-level IT infrastructure systems from legacy to new solutions. You will propose and deliver solutions that best meet business needs in terms of security, cost, and bandwidth. Additionally, you will work closely with Network, Cloud (Azure/AWS), and Application team members to deliver IT Infrastructure as part of wider projects and document the solutions delivered to help transition services to regional teams in the final project stage.
You will also collaborate with various IT Support and Delivery Teams on a daily basis. This role requires skills in MS Server OS, Active Directory, ESXi, storage, and backup engineering. An open mind and the ability to work with diverse individuals in a multicultural environment are essential.
Qualifications
You should have over 3 years of experience in server (virtual & physical) infrastructure design and transitions, support for VMware (HA/DRS, Standard/Distributed switch, Resource Pools, ESXi server hardware sizing), Windows Server deployment and support (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, SCCM, Veeam and CommVault backups, DNS, DHCP (with failover), and monitoring tools. A very good command of written and spoken English is essential, along with the ability to present technical projects in meetings.
Additional skills that would be advantageous include experience with Azure, Ansible for Azure automation, VMware design and implementation on large enterprise-level projects, distributed switch ESXi server hardware sizing, Windows PKI (offline root, sub), ADFS, NPS, Web Application Proxy, Data Center Operations, Site 24x7 Monitoring, and storage solutions like Dell storage for small zones and NetApp for large zones.
