Job Description

What will you be doing? 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) to join our dynamic team in the aerospace sector. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace compliance verification and must be a sole UK national. This role is critical to ensuring that our products meet all relevant regulatory requirements and standards.

Your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Lead the compliance verification process, ensuring all regulatory and certification requirements are met.
  • Develop and maintain compliance verification plans, checklists, and reports.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of design documents, test plans, and test results to verify compliance with aerospace standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve compliance issues.
  • Liaise with certification authorities and represent the company during audits and inspections.
  • Provide expert advice on regulatory and compliance matters to internal teams.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with industry standards.
  • Keep abreast of changes in aerospace regulations and standards, and ensure these are incorporated into company practices.

Qualifications

Experience, skills and qualifications required: 

  • Sole UK national (UK Passport holder)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in aerospace compliance verification.
  • In-depth knowledge of aerospace regulations and standards (e.g., EASA, FAA, CAA, DAOS, Part 21 G/J).
  • Proven experience in managing compliance verification for aerospace projects.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
