About the Role:
The Communications Intern will report to the Communications Manager supporting the broader communications team. The communications team gets the opportunity to tell the Tubi story to a wide variety of audiences, from consumers and partners to advertisers and employees. Tubi’s unique strategy enables unmatched creativity in storytelling, making the communications function fun and energizing. We’re looking for a hungry, organized, creative go-getter who can write, help us maintain media lists, coverage reports, and more. During this internship, you will work with multiple disciplines in publicity, consumer PR, product PR, internal communications and corporate learning about communications strategy, how to tell stories to different audiences, and how to measure for impact. This position can be remote or hybrid in our San Francisco, Los Angeles or New York City offices.
What You'll Do:
- Draft press releases, fact sheets, media pitches, briefing materials, recap reports, and employee communications
- Support planning and execution of corporate announcements such as quarterly earnings, business milestones, and internal events
- Participate in PR planning and strategy development
- Track industry and company media coverage and prepare reports

- Passion for technology, streaming TV, the entertainment industry, and digital advertising
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and flexible
- A team player with the ability to juggle multiple projects
- Good judgment, especially under pressure
- Ability to simplify complex information
- Trustworthy and able to keep highly sensitive information confidential
- Pursuing a degree (and career) in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, English, or Advertising
Program Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree during the length of the program
- Current class standing of sophomore (second-year college student) or above
- Strong academic record (minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA)
- Committed and available to work for the entire length of the program
