We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Lead to oversee and drive key commercial projects for Soum. This is an essential role, focused on managing high-impact initiatives that drive performance across various areas, including product selection, pricing strategies, incentives, and the diversification of supply sources. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the commercial landscape, and experience in managing complex cross-functional projects to help launch new categories and revenue streams.

Role & Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution:Lead and manage special commercial projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, marketing, product, operations) to execute strategic initiativesPrioritize and manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring each initiative’s success and impact on the business.
Insights & Performance Management:Provide insights and analytics to assess the performance of various commercial initiatives, ensuring data-driven decision-making.Regularly analyze business performance to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track the success of key initiatives and commercial goals.Manage and coach a team of business analysts, guiding them in their day-to-day work, helping them develop their skills, and ensuring that their insights and analyses contribute directly to the success of commercial projects.
Pricing & Incentives:Contribute to the development and optimization of pricing strategies and incentive programs to maximize revenue and competitiveness.Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with market conditions and business objectives.
Product Selection & Campaign Support:Support product selection strategies for marketing campaigns, ensuring the right products are promoted to the right customers at the right time.Work with the marketing and merchandising teams to ensure products are showcased effectively in campaigns and promotions.
Supply Chain Diversification & Partnerships:Explore and support new sources of supply and potential partnerships to diversify product offerings and drive business growth.Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure a wide variety of products are available to meet customer demand.
Category Expansion & Revenue Diversification:Lead initiatives for the launch of new electronics categories, identifying opportunities to expand the product portfolio and increase revenue.Identify and evaluate potential new revenue streams and business models to ensure continued growth and diversification.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:6+years of experience in a commercial, project management, or business development role, preferably in the B2B marketplace sector.Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional projects, with a focus on driving performance improvements and commercial outcomes.Experience in pricing strategy, product selection, and campaign support.Familiarity with the dynamics of supply chain diversification and strategic partnerships.
Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to work collaboratively with various teams and stakeholders to drive business objectives.Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and results to senior leadership.
Languages:Fluency in Arabic and English are a must.
