Who We Need
Our DevOps team is looking to expand to accommodate the growth in our business and accelerate our modernization and platform integration. In this role, you will be part of a growing and talented software organization, reporting to the Cloud Operations Team Lead.
The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud technologies, containerization, infrastructure-as-code and configuration management.
Job Duties
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to assist in various infrastructure operations and production engineering projects. This person will have experience building and maintaining infrastructure that hosts and supports a company’s core products. This person will be expected to work with various developer and product teams to gather requirements for projects critical to the company’s goals and execute on them. They will additionally be expected to comprehend code to assist in debugging production issues.
Knowledge & Skills
Must Have
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of networking
Solid understanding of Windows Systems Administration
Familiar with SDLCs and deploying software in production environments.
Ability to discuss business concerns and relate to technological ones.
Preferred to Have
Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
Security background and experience applying it within DevOps best practices
Logging and monitoring experience with Prometheus and Grafana
Nice to Have
Experience maintaining Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with feature environment infrastructure for teams.
Experience working in software development directly.
Education & Work Experience
Experience with Azure Cloud or another major cloud provider.
Experience with EntraID
Experience with Docker containers
Experience with Git and collaborating when working on code.
Experience with managing infrastructure as code or configuration as code, preferably with Terraform.
Able to write scripts in a shell scripting language (Powershell/Bash)
Experience with relational databases (MSSQL or PostgreSQL)
Experience using Kubernetes in production environments (AKS/EKS and Helm)
Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience building and packaging software in different languages (C#, Typescript, Python, Java, etc)
