Job Description
Position Description
This role is ideal for someone who is deeply interested in cloud computing and DevOps methodologies. As a Cloud Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based infrastructure and ensuring its optimal performance, security, and scalability.
Expertise you bring
- Experience/Skills Required:
- Proven experience of working as a cloud engineer in a 24/7 operational model.
- Strong knowledge of public cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
- Proficient in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and technologies.
- Excellent client management and communication skills, capable of effectively handling client interactions over calls and written communication.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- Team player with a problem-solving attitude and an eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology with 1-2 years of relevant experience or 3-5 years of experience working in a cloud/DevOps engineering team.
- Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer Certification) are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with IAC tools like Terraform and common DevOps tools like Kubernetes is a plus.

Job Requirements
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and applications ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability in a 24/7 operational model.
- Engage in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues in cloud environments, including issues related to DevOps tools and practices.
- Assist in the management and optimization of cloud infrastructure with a focus on automation and scalability.
- Participate in the planning and deployment of infrastructure as code (IaC) and other DevOps practices.
- Effectively handle client interactions, providing clear communication and swift resolution of queries and issues.
