POSITION SUMMARY:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator will support Natera's Prospera Kidney product, and will interact with medical professionals at transplant clinics and internal Natera employees to build a best in class patient care organization. As the subject matter expert and liaison to clinics, the CNC will use their knowledge of the transplant community and the patient journey to develop best practices to continuously improve our support for the Prospera product portfolio. You will be responsible for addressing challenging questions from clinics and provide critical guidance that enables Prospera to operationally scale in the transplant community and positively impact patient care.
LOCATION: This role is fully remote, but will provide support to the Atlantic/Southeast region. Travel across the region is required.
*Candidates residing in Tennessee are strongly preferred
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide expert-level support and develop deep relationships with transplant coordinators and center staff
- Educate external patient care specialists as well as internal team members on post-transplant care
- Act as a cross functional expert across lab operations, clinical operations and reimbursement
- Develop best practices for Prospera Clinic Operations within Natera
- Work with Transplant clinics to improve their logistics to easily integrate Prospera
- Problem solve with clinical and sales staff in the field
- Special projects and other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
- This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and has access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job.
- Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.
- Must maintain a current status on Natera training requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) with nursing or transplant coordinator certification
- Registered Nursing Certification required, as well as kidney transplant experience or nurse coordinator experience in transplant diagnostics
- Ability to easily develop relationships and influence others
- Self starter with bias for action
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Demonstrate detailed understanding of the patient journey for transplant recipients
- Knowledge of molecular biology and immunology helpful
- Experience in establishing strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholder functions (e.g. Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, R&D) and external customers
- Outgoing and confident
- Independent thinker and persuasive communicator.
