Client Partner, New Business, DACH

The Mid-Market international team is responsible for building the international ads engine outside of the US, onboarding & growing advertisers to achieve their marketing objectives with proven solutions and at pace globally. 

Last year we launched our sales team in Amsterdam that is focused on growing our Mid-Market business in DACH. This is an opportunity for you to be part of the team that expands the Reddit footprint: design the strategy, develop a strong book of business, and bring the magic of Reddit into the DACH market! We're looking for a sharp, positive and motivated self-starter to help us build this team! New Business Client Partners will be responsible for seeking out new high-potential clients and building the foundation for mutually beneficial, long-term partnerships by aligning your clients' company goals with opportunities on the Reddit ads platform. 

In person attendance at our Amsterdam office is required. 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identify and reach out to new clients, establishing mutually beneficial relationships and educating them on Reddit and the Reddit ads platform
  • Act as the CEO of your book of business, and take full ownership of strategic bets, revenue forecasting, and ensuring operational rigor
  • Work with Sales Ops Lead to develop a book of business and outbound sales pipeline
  • Communicate feedback on our sales processes, narratives, and products in order to advocate for customers and improve the team's effectiveness and efficiency
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to build mutually beneficial partnerships between your customer base and Reddit

Qualifications: 

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in online media sales (platform experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape and broad network of clients in DACH
  • Network in in the Goods Industry such as Retail, CPG, Pharma, Fashion, Food & Beverage is a plus
  • Have relevant experience using New Business tools such as Zoominfo, LinkedIn, Salesforce etc.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets, strong negotiation skills, and ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Experience with and passion for new business acquisition with proven equivalent work experience
  • Motivated self-starter who thrives in unstructured environments

  • Fluent in German and English
