About the role
You will manage the success of a Claims Production team and its workflows, driving member and employee satisfaction. You will support your team in their effectiveness, career development, and team morale. You will partner with your Operations Manager to develop operational improvements to daily workflows..
You will report to the Senior Manager, Claims Production.
This is a remote / work-from-home role. You must reside in one of the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, or Washington, D.C. Note, this list of states is subject to change. #LI-Remote
The base pay for this role in the states of California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, and Washington is: $56,800 - $74,550 per year. The base pay for this role in all other locations is: $51,120 - $67,095 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Guide your team's metrics, including member and provider satisfaction, quality of care (daily benchmark production) and employee satisfaction
- Coach direct reports through a culture of feedback and development to provide the best member/provider experience and care possible.
- Serve as a central communicator -- leading team huddles, promoting vision, strategy, company values, and providing feedback to team members and other company associates.
- Manage the daily needs of your team, including hiring, training, inventory levels, and scheduling to ensure an efficient operation .
- Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 2+ years of people leadership experience in a production or claims environment
- 2+ years of experience reading and using data to make decisions
- Experience working in a collaborative environment with a diverse set of people
- Strong proficiency Excel and exposure to JIRA
